- Is there any fee for attending this workshop? No, you can attend any of the STEP UP Monthly workshops for free.
- Do you provide any certification for this workshop? Yes, there will be a digital certificate that you can receive at the end of the workshop.
- Is there any prerequisite to do STEP UP lessons? No. You can do either of the lessons as a standalone lesson. We encourage you to review the teacher guides to be ready to facilitate students’ discussion and questions.
- Who are the facilitators of the workshop? STEP UP Ambassadors and PhysTEC Leads who all are physics Educators who have implemented the lessons in their classroom.
- I have implemented the lessons. Are the workshops useful for me? If it's been a while since you've participated in a workshop on STEP UP lessons or it's been a while since you’ve done the lessons yourself, it may be beneficial to attend. This can provide a chance to discuss how you do the lessons with your students, learn about alternative approaches from others, and exchange ideas with colleagues.
