  • This lesson covers careers you can do with a physics degree, particularly those that help solve societal problems. Helps students assess their personal values in relation to a career in physics, examine profiles of professionals with physics degrees, and envision themselves in a physics career. High school and middle school versions available.

  • The lesson explores the participation of women in physics and examines how everyday assumptions and societal influences can affect students’ interest in the field. Through an interactive presentation, students review data on representation in physics and consider how their experiences and expectations may shape their educational pathways. The lesson is suitable for all students and aims to encourage interest in pursuing undergraduate studies in physics.

  • Contains strategies for reducing marginalization in the classroom and recognizing students as physics people.
