About Nominating Invited Speakers

68th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics
Held jointly with the 79th Gaseous Electronics Conference

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.

Close Date: Extension Monday, May 11, 2026, 11:59 PM Eastern Daylight Time

Eligible Nominees

Only speakers who have not given an invited talk at the previous two DPP annual meetings are eligible for nomination. Only online nominations are acceptable for invited, or review, or tutorial submissions. Repeat tutorial speakers may be allowed under exceptional circumstances. Selected Speakers

Each speaker who is selected for an invited, or review, or tutorial talk will be emailed a letter of invitation by the end of June. The letter of invitation will include the URL for online invited abstract submission. Speakers should refer to their letter of invitation for details and abstract submission instructions. 

Each selected speaker is required to submit an abstract by the abstract submission deadline: Wednesday, July 22, 2026
