APS DPP Annual Meeting

68th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics
Held jointly with the 79th Gaseous Electronics Conference

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.

Conference Hotel

Choosing DPP-designated hotels helps to offset meeting costs by ensuring that the contracted-discount room-block threshold is met. Not meeting the contracted-discount room block revokes the facilities discount applied to DPP's cost of meeting space and facilities. Attendees are encouraged to choose the designated hotels.

All scientific sessions will take place at the Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center.

  • Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers more domestic and international flights than any other airport in the area. Rideshare expense from LAX to the Long Beach Convention Center is $47. Taxi service is $60-$80.

  • Long Beach Airport (LGB) is a convenient alternative and provides an easier airport experience. Rideshare or taxi expense from LGB to the Long Beach Convention Center is $25-$31.
