GPMFC Workshop
-Precision Quantum Sensing-
June 1, 2026
Providence, Rhode Island
The APS Topical Group on Precision Measurement and Fundamental Constants (GPMFC) will hold their annual workshop at the Rhode Island Convention Center. It will be held in conjunction with DAMOP on Monday, June 1, the day before DAMOP scientific sessions begin.
This year, the workshop focus will be “Precision Quantum Sensing”. It will feature invited speakers across a range of quantum sensing fields, including quantum gravimetry and atom interferometry, magnetometry and electrometry, and timekeeping. Please see the list of invited speakers below. In addition, the workshop will host a contributed poster session.
Registration for the workshop can be completed at the same time as DAMOP registration, as an add-on option on the DAMOP registration portal. Registrants will be given the option of including a contributed poster in the workshop program. The workshop registration deadline coincides with the DAMOP registration deadline. Lunch is included in the registration.
