APS Policies and Guidelines | Code of Conduct for APS Meetings

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.

Registration Fees

Online Registration is available to members and non-members. Individuals registering online must pay by credit card and can immediately print a confirmation (receipt). Registration Fees do NOT include meals, parking fees, or transportation costs.

The last day for early registration is Monday, May, 5, 2025, at 11:59 pm EDT. The higher registration fees start at 12:00 am EDT on May 6.

Before you registerjoin APS or update your membership to guarantee the best registration rate. Attendees traveling from outside the United States should review the guidelines for international travel.

Non-Member Registration

The non-member fee is higher for both early and on-site registration. Save on registration fees by joining APS and DAMOP.

Non-members may register online. If you are not yet a member and wish to receive member discounts, you may join APS and DAMOP when you register.  Please note that students who are not members of APS or a reciprocal society will be considered a non-member.

  • Join APS and DAMOP before registering: (1) Wait approximately 2 business days to receive verification of status, (2) register for the DAMOP annual meeting, (3) include payment for both registration and membership. Students who have been approved to join and have registered for the DAMOP annual meeting can immediately print a receipt.

Undergraduate Student Registration

Registration is free for undergraduate students, but not graduate students. Undergraduates who wish to take advantage of free registration must join.

Visa Letter of Invitation

If you require a personal letter of invitation to attend the DAMOP annual meeting contact abs-help@aps.org. To avoid delay when requesting a letter please include:

  • Your name as it appears on your passport

  • Your affiliation and mailing address

  • Your submitted abstract title and co-authors

Allow 5-7 business days to receive your letter of invitation for visa application.

Cancellation Policies

Deadline: May 27, 2025

Banquet tickets are non-refundable for both pre-meeting and on-site purchases. 

All registration cancellations and refund requests must be made in writing by May 27, 2025. A refund of the full conference fee, minus a $50 administrative fee, will be given for cancellations received by May 27, 2025. No refunds will be granted for requests submitted on or after May 28, 2025. Submit all requests to the APS registrar at registrar@aps.org and abs-help@aps.org if you are speaking or presenting.  APS regrets that refunds will not be given for no-shows.
