DAMOP Student Participation Award

Through this program, DAMOP provides partial funding (up to $600/recipient) for travel expenses for a limited number of graduate or undergraduate students to participate in the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Meeting. Reimbursable costs include airfare, carfare, lodging costs, and per diem food allowances.

To be eligible, the student must be a member of APS-DAMOP and must be the presenting author on an accepted oral or poster presentation. The student’s mentor must also be a DAMOP member.

The number of awards is determined by available funds. Priority is given to students who have not received support for previous DAMOP meetings. Support is contingent on available funds.

The deadline for the application is April 4, 2025.
