APS DPP Annual Meeting

66th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.


General Information

The 66th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) will be held in Atlanta, Georgia, October 7-11, 2024. All technical sessions will be held in the DPP headquarters hotel, Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel, located at 265 Peachtree NE, Atlanta, GA 30303.

The distance from the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL) to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel is approximately eleven miles (17.7 kilometers). There are a variety of ground transportation options available from the airport to the hotel (shared-ride shuttle, taxi, town car). Poster Session boards are freestanding, with a display area measuring four (4) feet high by eight (8) feet wide. Push-pins are provided.

All oral presentations will be set to project widescreen 16.9 format.

Mini-Conference Proposals

Mini-conference proposals should be submitted to the Program Chair, Cameron Geddes, with a copy to Saralyn Stewart by Thursday, April 11, 2024.

DPP encourages you to submit an online nomination for invited, review, or tutorial talks with relevant references, supporting remarks, and include DPP members who may be contacted about the nomination.

If a nominator is not an APS member, please create a web account. Due to web-based processing we cannot accept separate support letters—all information should be included in the online nomination form under Supporting Remarks, character limit is 1900.
