About Nominating Invited Speakers

65th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics 

October 30-November 3, 2023 • Denver, Colorado

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.


Nominations for Invited, Review, or Tutorial Papers

Portal Open: Monday, April 10, 2023
Portal Closed: Wednesday, May 24, 2023, 11:59pm Eastern Time

Eligible Nominees

Only speakers who have not given an invited talk at the previous two DPP annual meetings are eligible for nomination. Repeat tutorial speakers may be allowed under exceptional circumstances. DPP Invited Speakers policies are on this page.

The character limit for the Nomination Abstract is 1900 characters. LaTeX can be used for special symbols or equations. For more information using LaTeX go to the LaTeX Help website

Selected Speakers

Each speaker who is selected for invited, review, or tutorial talks will be emailed a letter of invitation in June. The letter of invitation will include the URL for online invited abstract submission. Speakers should refer to their letter of invitation for speaker details and abstract submission instructions. The deadline for invited abstract submissions is Friday, July 14, 2023.
