Staff Position in Equation of State Modeling, Sandia National Laboratories

The Computational Multiscale Department at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, New Mexico, invites applications for a staff position in the area of equation of state (EOS) modeling.  Our research team addresses challenges in the creation of EOS models for predicting material response in high temperature, high pressure environments.  This includes formulation of wide-range EOS tables for use in hydrocodes for modeling shock and other extreme events, the quantification of error for EOS models, and the development and deployment of software tools for EOS model creation.
