APS Policies and Guidelines | Code of Conduct for APS Meetings

Attendees of any APS in-person or virtual events are expected to meet standards of professional conduct as described in the APS Code of Conduct. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from future participation.

General Information

The Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics (DAMOP) career fair provides an opportunity for job seekers and employers to meet in person and discuss various physics job opportunities at all career levels.

Employers will be available to conduct on-site interviews and make connections for post-meeting conversations.

Career Counseling and Resume Help Desk

Back by popular demand, a Career Counseling and Resume Help will also be available in the Career Fair area at the Rhode Island Convention Center.  Continue to check this website for updates.

IMPORTANT: Please be aware that the career counseling and resume help desk is not a place to interview for jobs. The purpose of the career counseling and resume desk is for attendees to receive general advice on careers from volunteers. If attendees wish to interview for positions advertised at the career fair, they will need to register for the career fair and apply for those positions formally, as described in the job seeker instructions.

Registration to attend the Career Fair is free of charge to all.  In order to register, you must have an APS Job Board account.
