Squishy Science Sunday

Squishy Science Sunday

Thank you all once again for joining us at Squishy Science Sunday and contributing to a truly memorable event. We were thrilled to welcome families, friends and curious minds of all ages. Our visitors had the opportunity to get their hands dirty and try various hands-on experiments and demos, including marine snow, soap bubbles, ooblek, bristlebots or slime! Many of them also engaged in enlightening one-on-one discussions with our working scientists. See here for this year’s recap from APS News!

A big thank you to the American Physical Society units as well as our generous partners for making this free community event possible.

Stay tuned for future events where we'll continue to share the joy and excitement of physics!

Event Details (2026, 2025, 2024)

Squishy Science Sunday is brought to you by the collaboration of American Physical Society units – DSOFT, DSNP, DBIO, DPOLY, FEd, FOEP, DFD, and DCOMP – who wish to share the joy and excitement of physics with the community.
