WVU Hosting APS Mid-Atlantic Section Meeting Oct. 23-25
West Virginia University (WVU) is pleased to host the Mid-Atlantic Section American Physical Society meeting on the weekend of October 23-25 2015. Morgantown is a college town on the banks of the Monogahela River in the northern part of mountainous West Virginia and a picturesque location for a Fall meeting. John and Gay Stewart recently joined WVU to bring a Physics Education Research program to the institution. This meeting will feature invited talks by Andrew Heckler (The Ohio State), Kathleen Koenig (Cincinnati), Chandralakah Singh (Pittsburgh), and Raluca Teodorescu (George Washington). Physics education researchers in the region are invited to provide a strong education research presence at this meeting.
