Prof Vahid Karimipour will discuss how almost 100 years after the final formulation of Quantum Mechanics, new phenomena are appearing in the horizon of the microscopic world, the description of which greatly enhances our understanding of both the formalism and the foundations of quantum mechanics. We also find new ways to harbor quantum phenomena for revolutionizing our technologies in various ways. In this talk, we briefly talk about these developments.

This event is co-hosted by Mohammad Reza Ejtehadi, President of the Physics Society of Iran, who will give a short introduction on Physics in Iran.
