CEU25 Timeline
- August 01 (5:00 pm Eastern) - Application review begins.
- August 29 - Decision letters sent (via email)
- September 03 - Deadline to move poster to oral presentation
- September 12 - Deadline to accept CEU award / Early Registration deadline via APS registration site. You must be an APS student member to take advantage of the $TBD student registration fee.

- 17 - 20 October 2025 - DNP Meeting
- All undergraduate students are welcome to attend open undergraduate events, however, only students accepted into the CEU program will present at the CEU poster session and receive a mentor. If your abstract is not accepted into the poster session you may still attend the conference and CEU events but cannot present your work in the poster session and receive a mentor.
- If you have your own travel funding and would like a guarantee of presenting your work, please submit to Category #16 - Undergraduate Research (Talks) session.

CEU25 Meeting Schedule
The CEU program will run in parallel with the APS Division of Nuclear Physics Meeting. This schedule contains events from the DNP programs and events scheduled with CEU students in mind. A full schedule of events will be added soon.
CEU25 Application Instructions
NOTE: Categories have changed this year. Posters: Category 15, Talks Category 16.
Students who have already presented their project at a CEU poster session (Category No. 15) or with advanced projects are encouraged to submit an abstract for a DNP oral presentation in the undergraduate session (Category No. 16) on the DNP submission form. (Note: Students who wish to present an oral presentation in their topical session must submit their APS abstract by July 08). The CEU program only financially supports students accepted to present posters, but welcomes all undergraduates to take part in the CEU program's open activities. Please fill out the CEU application and indicate that you submitted an oral abstract.
Priority may be given to junior and senior students and those who have not previously attended a CEU conference.
Please submit your poster/oral abstract to the APS before filling out the CEU Application. Your application to the program is not complete until you have filled out both the APS abstract and the CEU application. More information can be found under "Forms" in the menu.
Target Date: All application materials must be received by Friday, August 1, 2025 (5 p.m. Eastern Time). Complete applications (including both CEU application and APS abstract) submitted by this date will receive full consideration. However, we will continue to accept applications until all positions are filled.
CEU25 Eligibility
If you have a research project in nuclear science and are enrolled as an undergraduate student in the fall 2025 semester you are welcome to apply for admission into the CEU program. At this time, funding is only awarded to students who are enrolled in a US institution of higher education even if the research presented was conducted outside of the US.
