APS Fellowship Nominations

By Madison Mincevich posted 29 days ago

APS prizes, awards, and fellowships recognize outstanding achievements in research, education, and public service. With few exceptions, they are open to all members of the scientific community in the US and abroad. Please consider nominating a colleague for these opportunities.

APS Fellowship is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one’s professional peers for making advances in physics through original research and publication, significant innovative contributions in the application of physics to science and technology, or to the teaching of physics or service and participation in the activities of the Society.

The membership of APS is diverse and global, and the nominees and recipients of APS Honors should reflect that diversity so that all are recognized for their impact on our community. Nominations of members belonging to groups traditionally underrepresented in physics, such as women, LGBT+ scientists, scientists who are Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), disabled scientists, scientists from institutions with limited resources, and scientists from outside the United States, are especially encouraged.
