DAMOP Caregiver Grant

Through this program, DAMOP provides partial funding (up to $1,000/recipient), for DAMOP members who incur extra caregiver expenses in order to participate in the APS Division of Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics Meeting.

The conference attendee must:

Be a DAMOP member
Be responsible for at least 50% of the primary care of at least one child under 12 years of age or at least one elderly family member.

If the number of grants exceeds the funding available, preference will be given to applicants in the early stages of their careers.

The deadline to complete the application is April 3, 2026.
