The annual Fall meeting of the New England sections (NES) of APS will be held on October 14th - 15th (Friday and Saturday) in DeMeritt Hall at the University of New Hampshire in Durham, with the exciting return of in-person meeting. The theme of the meeting is “spin polarization from nucleon to quantum matter”, which features recent developments of polarized targets in nuclear physics and magnetism in condensed matter physics. Invited and contributed talks will cover related topics. APS-NES and UNH welcome everyone from related fields to join us.
UNH is New Hampshire’s flagship public research institution. The Durham campus is located on the Atlantic coastline, about 60 miles north of Boston. Mid-October is the peak season of the foliage when the entire New Hampshire landscape is covered by golden color.
