Dear all
The Higgs Factory white paper input to ESG is ready for comments and endorsement.
As a reminder, the HFCC was created by DOE/NSF in response to the P5 recommendation to provide strategic direction and leadership for the U.S. community to engage, shape, and thereby advance the development of the physics, experiment, and detector (PED) and the accelerator (ACC) program for a potential future Higgs factory; and to ensure cooperation with our partners in the international program.
The HFCC was charged by DOE and NSF to construct an input to the ESG in consultation with the U.S. community focusing on the future CERN collider program. The white paper follows the community discussions at Stony Brook, SLAC and Fermilab as well as the discussions during the DPF/DPB meeting and does its best to incorporate the wide range of community comments that we have heard to date. The input is consistent and aligned with the P5 recommendation.
The white paper has the unanimous support of the Editorial Board, the endorsement of the Laboratory Coordination group as well as the L2/L3 coordinators of the HFCC organization. It is currently under review by DOE and NSF.
We welcome your endorsement and support of this paper. We also offer you an opportunity to provide us any constructive feedback you may have through the web form that we have created. Please do send us your input before end of day, Thursday, March 27, 2025.

While a final version of this paper is planned to be submitted to the Strategy update process, and the community will have additional opportunities to provide input on this as well as other HEP program initiatives, namely at the upcoming “Open Symposium” for the Strategy process, scheduled for June 23-27, 2025 in Venice, Italy”.
Thank you for your consideration and support.
