Chair, Chair-elect, Vice-chair & Past chair are all consecutive one-year terms starting at the main meeting (MM) in March or April.
The DCOMP Executive Committee term begins at the end of the Annual Meeting, coinciding with the APS March Meeting for two years then the APS April Meeting for one year in a repeating pattern.
DCOMP Governance History
Nominees for and holders of APS Honors (prizes, awards, and fellowship) and official leadership positions are expected to meet standards of professional conduct and integrity as described in the APS Ethics Guidelines. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from consideration or lead to revocation of honors or removal from office.
