Graduate Student Travel Awards

Apply by November 1, 2023 for the 2024 APS March Meeting

DCMP Graduate Student Travel Awards are available to assist the professional development and  careers of graduate student researchers. DCMP will award up to twenty DCMP Travel Awards of $800.00 to support graduate student members of DCMP to participate in the 2024 APS March Meeting. Applicants must be presenting a contributed or invited talk in a DCMP symposium at the 2024 APS March meeting (Session sorting categories 7,9, or 11-15). The selection will be based on merit, and  the selection committee will consist of members of the DCMP Executive Committee.

On-line applications must be completed by November 1, 2023. Advisors of applicants will be asked to complete a letter of support by November 6, 2023.

Please note that this type of funding is considered taxable by the IRS.

Nominees for and holders of APS Honors (prizes, awards, and fellowship) and official leadership positions are expected to meet standards of professional conduct and integrity as described in the APS Ethics Guidelines. Violations of these standards may disqualify people from consideration or lead to revocation of honors or removal from office.
