By Peter Joseph Hirschfeld posted 07-20-2023 13:39

Please note revised deadline for submission of Invited Symposium Nominations is now July 24, 2023. The DCMP Invited Symposium program for the APS March Meeting (March 4-8, 2024, Minneapolis, MN) is dependent on the invited sessions that are nominated by DCMP members. All invited speakers that we host must be nominated in advance by a DCMP member as part of an invited symposium. DCMP will organize 30 Invited Symposia for March Meeting 2024. Historically, the success rate of a proposal is about 50% of the ~60 submitted. The DCMP Executive Committee will select the symposia for the meeting from those proposed by the community and, according to DCMP bylaws, cannot substitute speakers of its own choosing. The APS Nomination Portal is open from June 8 - July 24, 2023.Please take some time to submit an invited session nomination.

Serving a diverse and inclusive community of physicists worldwide is a primary goal for APS. Nominations of women, members of underrepresented minority groups, and scientists from outside the United States are especially encouragedBe sure to select a DCMP Category for your symposium nomination. DCMP categories are:
