APS DAP Caregiver Awards
The financial burden of dependent care affects APS members, and its impact can be so great that it often prevents attendance at meetings, especially for early career scientists or those at small institutions with limited funding. In recognition of this challenge, APS Division of Astrophysics (DAP) Caregiver Awards of up to $500 are available for DAP members attending the April Meeting 2024. Successful applicants may use awards for dependent care at the meeting or at an alternative location (including at home), including expenses incurred in transporting a caregiver.
The deadline for applications is January 31, 2024 (11:59 PM US Pacific Time)
