The Forum of Graduate Student Affairs (FGSA) is putting out a call for four positions on the Program Committee. The Program Committee: shall assist in arranging sessions including symposia of invited and contributed papers sponsored by the Forum at meetings of the American Physical Society. The Program Committee shall cooperate with the Program Committee of any other unit of the American Physical Society that is interested in sponsoring sessions or symposia in areas of interest to the Forum.
Generally the term commitment for this position is 2 years. However, with the pandemic the usual appointment schedule for the committee was disrupted. Therefore we will appoint two people to one-year positions and two people to two-year positions. The start date of the position will be June 1, 2021. The position end dates are December 31, 2021 (for the one-year position) and December 31, 2022 (for the two-year position). The call will be closed on May 21, 2021.
