31.03.00 FECS Postdoctoral Poster Competition

Early career scientists! Don’t miss out on this opportunity to share your work and engage with your peers!

The Forum for Early Career Scientists (FECS) is hosting a poster competition for postdoctoral researchers at the APS March Meeting 2023. An award for the "Best Poster" will consist of a $500 prize and a certificate; runners-up will receive a certificate and $100. Note: if you submit an abstract to this session you may still submit another abstract for an ordinary session (for a total of two abstracts).

Eligibility:

Abstracts are accepted in any topic covered by the March meeting. All postdoctoral fellows within 5 years of earning their PhD are eligible to participate in the competition. The applicant must be the presenting author of the poster and a member of the APS Forum for Early Career Scientists (free to join for APS members).

What the submission must include:

Please submit an abstract to the “FECS Postdoctoral Poster Competition”, sorting category 31.03.00. Abstracts in any topic covered by the March meeting are accepted. Again, in addition to submitting an abstract to the FECS Postdoctoral Poster Competition, you are still allowed to submit a different poster or oral abstract to any other sorting category.

Submissions are due by Friday, October 20, 2022, 5pm EST.
