DGRAV Student Travel Grants for APS Global Physics Summit

First awarded in 1999, these grants provide needed travel support to allow DGRAV student members to present their work at the APS Global Physics Summit.

The Division of Gravitational Physics (DGRAV) will offer travel grants to support the attendance of graduate students or advanced undergraduate students at APS Global Physics Summit.

The amount of each travel grant can be up to $600 in travel reimbursement and grants for the virtual component will cover early registration rates.

Eligibility

Applicants must be:

Graduate students or advanced undergraduate students
A member of DGRAV
Giving talks or presenting posters at the meeting

Preference will be given to applicants who have not received travel grant support to the APS Global Physics Summit (previously April Meeting) from the division in the past, but all participating DGRAV students are encouraged to submit applications.

The application will request the name and email for a person (Supervisor/Advisor) who can provide a brief (1-2 sentence) statement of support (due by October 25, 2026).

The deadline for applications (inclusive of the statement of support) is October 25, 2026.
