PSAPS Student Travel Grant 2023
Application Deadline: November 10, 2023.
PSAPS will offer varying levels of support for undergraduate and graduate students to attend and/or present at the 2023 Fall PSAPS Meeting. The meeting will be held at the University of Missouri, Columbia, in Missouri from November 30 to December 2, 2023.
Attendees
The attendee grant will cover the cost of meeting registration ($25) for undergraduate students. After the meeting, individuals will be required to submit their registration receipts.
Presenters
The presenter grant will cover the cost of meeting registration ($25) and travel expenses (up to $75) for both undergraduate and graduate students. Applications will require a short justification for the travel expenses. After the meeting, individuals will be required to submit their registration and travel expense receipts.
Eligibility
Applicants must be:

A member of the Prairie section
-
Currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at a university or college in the United States

In attendance at the 2023 PSAPS Meeting
Selection
The goal is for all applicants to be awarded the applicable grant. However, if the number of applications exceeds the total grant budget, the Chair of the Executive Committee will make the final decision on who receives the grants.

Payment
Following the meeting, all winners are required to submit two forms along with the applicable receipts.

The completed direct deposit form should be emailed directly to payable-units@aps.org.

The completed travel and expense reimbursement form, along with receipts, should be emailed to Carlos Wexler at wexlerc@missouri.edu. Attendees will submit their registration receipt, while presenters will submit both their registration receipt and travel expense receipts.
