2026 Spring Meeting of the Eastern Great Lakes Section of the American Physical Society and the Michigan Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers
May 1 & 2 – Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan
Join your colleagues for two days of collaboration, learning, and communication at the 2026 Spring Meeting of the Eastern Great Lakes Section (EGLS) of the American Physical Society and the Michigan Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers! The 2026 Spring Meeting is at Wayne State University, a premier, public, urban research university located in the heart of Detroit. Plenary talks on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning will discuss active areas of physics and astronomy research (from Detroit to the center of our galaxy!) and how the broad fields of physics and astronomy can be made more accessible to everyone. A Friday evening banquet and presentation is part of this meeting. Undergraduate and graduate students are especially encouraged to present their own work through a poster or contributed talk, learn about other research areas, and network with the EGLS community.
Additional information about invited speakers, abstract submission, registration, and travel accommodations will be available soon.
