We are pleased to announce the Spring 2024 Joint Meeting of the Texas Section of the APS, the Texas Section of the AAPT, and Zone 13 of the SPS to be held on March 21 – 23, 2024 at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, TX.

Invited plenary speakers include:
- Dr. Kevin B. Woller (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) - "Fusion Energy Technology Development"
- Dr. Gay Stewart (West Virginia University) - "Words Matter: Problems to Consider in Teaching About Work and Energy"
- Dr. Tim Head (Abilene Christian University) - "The ACU Molten Salt Research Reactor, a Springboard to the Future"
- Dr. Joshua Young (Sandia National Laboratories) - "Radiation Effects Testing of Transistors at Sandia’s Ion Beam Laboratory"
- Dr. Jose L. Pacheco (Sandia National Laboratories) - "Computational Algorithms Enabling Particle-in-Cell Plasma Physics Simulations of Realistic Plasma Devices"
Registration to attend the meeting and abstract submission for contributed talks and poster presentations is now open at the local meeting website. The deadline for abstract submission and early registration is March 4, 2024.
Travel awards are available for graduate, undergraduate, and high school students, and high school teachers.
