Nominate an APS Fellow in Physics Education Research

Colleagues,

As a topical group, GPER is able to nominate 1-3 members annually to be elected APS Fellows. We would like to collect nominations from the community for potential GPER fellows.

The criterion for election to fellowship is “exceptional contributions to the physics enterprise.” Fellowship is a distinct honor signifying recognition by one's professional peers. More information can be found on the APS Fellows webpage.

Ultimately you will need to submit your nominations using the APS Fellowship Nomination online system prior to June 1, 2021.

Notes:

Nominees must be APS members.
A nomination needs a sponsor AND co-sponsor, with letters of support, and up to two additional letters.
You may review the APS fellows archive to see if someone you are planning to nominate is already a fellow through a different APS unit (e.g., through FEd).

We have until June 1 to collect nominations, so please begin your nominating soon. After this time, the GPER Fellowship Committee will begin the evaluation process.
