Abstract:

Prof. Muayad M. Abu Saa will describe Higher Education in Palestine and the situation of the Universities, Colleges, institutions, students, staff academic programs at the different Universities as well as Scientific Research Infrastructures.

His presentation is a complement to October 28th PHYSICS MATTERS colloquium by Prof. Dr. Ghaleb Natour (see recording). The event will be followed by a forum gathering key international actors for Palestinian higher education.

Biographies:

Prof. Muayad M. Abu Saa, is the Vice-President for academic affairs since 1/8/2019 and the former Dean of the Faculty of Sciences at Arab American University.

He obtained his education MSc of physics in 1992 from Famagusta (North Cyprus), Eastern Mediterranean University, then his Ph.D. on Photonics from Yarmouk University, Irbid (Jordan).

The forum members will include:
