APS DPP Annual Meeting

General Information

The 67th Annual Meeting of the APS Division of Plasma Physics (DPP) will be held in Long Beach, CA, and online Nov. 17-21, 2025. In-person scientific research sessions will be held in the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, located at 300 East Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA 90802.

Travel

• Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) offers more domestic and international flights than any other airport in the area. Rideshare expense from LAX to the Long Beach Convention Center is $47. Taxi service is $60-$80.
• Long Beach Airport (LGB) is a convenient alternative and provides an easier airport experience. Rideshare or taxi expense from LGB to the Long Beach Convention Center is $25-$31.

Prepare

• Poster boards are freestanding, with a display area measuring four (4) feet high by eight (8) feet wide. Push-pins are provided. Poster presenters are also asked to upload their poster to the virtual platform.
• Oral presentations are set to project widescreen 16.9 format.
