The Future of High Energy Density Science
What are the most critical scientific challenges in high energy density science? The National Academies is undertaking a study to explore recent discoveries in high energy density science, identify important scientific questions for the next decade, and make recommendations related to workforce and funding.
The study committee is seeking input from the research community on key areas of scientific interest, potential new directions, and workforce/funding issues. Learn more about the study, ask questions, and submit comments to the committee by attending a virtual town hall meeting on August 11 from 11:00 am-12:30 pm ET or August 16 from 3:30 pm-5:00 pm ET.
Share Your Thoughts on the Future of High Energy Density Science
The study committee also invites you to share your thoughts on the future of high energy density science by submitting input via this form by September 17, 2021. Input can be in the form of white papers or informal comments.
