The Biophysical Society will have a symposium entitled, "Biophysicists Address COVID-19 Challenges" on October 29, 2020. The symposium will explore recent groundbreaking advances in understanding the structural biophysics of the SARS-CoV-2 virus and the molecular mechanisms by which it infects humans, the immune response to viral infection, and the development of antiviral drugs and vaccines.

Invited speakers with recent innovative contributions to these challenges will discuss their work in three sessions, including:

    • Protein Structure and Function
    • RNA Structure and Function
    • Computational and Systems Biology
